hi,does anyone know much about DAP AUDIO mobile disco speakers? recommended or not ?? thanks ..ps they would be for mobile use not fixed.

Never heard these speakers. If I was in your position, I'd go to a dealer have a demo of the speakers and take it from there. Me personally would go for JBL, allot of clubs use them and sound fantastic :D

I have a pair of DAp Audio base bins and they sound really nice

i know teralec over in southend deal with dap speakers and amps , always looked a little cheap to me but i have never heard them

I've installed some of their 8" Cabs in our main school hall, and in our Sixth Form's common room, (for general use, not loud music) and they rock, hence putting in a second pair.

Obviously the 8" cabs arn't much use for disco use, but I should imagine the 15" cabs would be just as good!

DAP Audio - Showtec family ( www.highlite.nl ), Chinese parts - sound OK just don't push them too hard. Average. As with all chinese speakers high frequencies lack clarity.
