Can anybody please tell me if this can be connected to a 4 channel chaser?

I'm after some simple lights to use for karaoke to light the singers from behind. kind of like these but im on a tight budget.

You would be better with the Par56 cans as they have a larger light spread. Par36 cans have focussed narrow beams the width of the bulbs and are often called pinspots for that reason.

Yeah i wouldn't got with the Par 36 pinspots... Not for what you are looking to do.... The only thing they are really good for is "pinspotting" - Over December i had the great job of rigging and changing 101 of the bloomin things each day to pinspot the individual tables in the marquee...

If you're looking for a bit of back lighting or colour chases for karaoke then look at either standard par 56 or LED par 56... Yes they are more expensive but in the long run it works out cheaper... especially by the time you add in the costs of buying the par36 pinspots trying them and realising they don't do what you want... then selling them and buying something more suitable...

Keep an eye on ebay or DJ Bids as you can usually find some second hand ones on there for pretty cheap - sometimes with a sound to light chaser too....
