View Full Version : New Chair

I've been saying this for a couple of years now, but I really must get myself a new office chair.
I don't necessarily want a massive leather thing, but it must be good for my back and somewhere I can sit for a long time and still feel comfortable.
Budget? About £200.
Any recommendations?

Should it not also be...shall we say...well built......:sofa::D :D :D :D :D
As you do most of your work from said seat...i would have thought getting a leather one would be best....nice and comfortable.....

Watch it....:boxer2:
I've had leather before, but most leather chairs seem to be the massive 'chairman of the board' plush type ones and I am a bit restricted on space here. :(

I'm with you now.....penny's dropped....
So it's a space issue......have you tried the sales at 'Staples'...if there is one near you....??

Me too.
Mine swivels, tilts & uses gas to raise the height.
It's comfy, and was an absolute bargain...£39.99 at Staples earlier this year!

Erm.... not only has Darren specified a computer chair, he also said it has to be space conservative - and you're suggesting he buys a :sofa:

I have bought a few things from them and there quite cheap. means you get either more for your money or an expensive chair cheaper then usuall rrp.
but beware they do like to pester you. they like to check when you going to buy from them next. gets a little annoying.

It's like HMVs annual 'Biggest Ever Sale'...
...of course it's going to be the biggest ever sale every year, as long as there is inflation

Anyone with half a brain knows that , but there are an awful lot of thickos out there that believe them and buy from them, it's about time something was done about these crooks.
Sorry to go off a bit but it's one of the things that winds me up most
