Confetti cannons

I've used the disposable confetti cannons, but does anyone have any experience with the more industrial CO2/electric fan powered ones that can keep the confetti flowing? I have a customer asking about using one at their wedding.

I Use the industrial thearte confetti cannons made by Le Maitre.
These don't keep the confetti flowing but it is a big bang and then there is alot of confetti over the bride and groom.

I also use the indoor fireworks too like the Jurbs they look really good when you do its raining men.

Only problem with these is they give off abit of smoke so you have to consult the venue if you can use them.

Tell me about it - it's amazing how much comes out of a handheld one, let alone a big professional job!

Every venue i have worked in have let me use these.
I had to change my PLI to allow me to use these but it is worth it in the end and makes it very special for the bride and groom.

Im glad i dont have to clean the mess up then tho.

You must speak to the venue well in advance. Pyrotechnic use may well be mentioned in the venue's license, potentialy not allowed, in which case you can't use them, end of.
However if the venue approve use, double check they won't set off a smoke alarm:eek:
Normal PLI will most likely exclude their use, so it's best to sort that well in advance.
If there is any doubt about any of the above (not to mention all the H&S issues to be considered) then don't use them. If you injured someone or damaged the venue, it would be really bad:eek:

I suspect you may be OK with something that ONLY fires confetti using CO2 or mechanical release. I'm specifically refering to the type that use electric to fire a small charge.

Which ones are they?

We use them in the theatre a lot..
they give off a huge amount of smokes which seems to irritate eyes alot... (a lot more so than haze etc.)
