multy DMX

Hi all,

i was wondering if i could link up two dynamos and an SSN-1 in a DMX chain by DMX master I.

i would only have the dynamos on (the controller) when the SSN-1 is off on the controller of DMX control.

i only want ot use it to control thr SSN-1 and so if the dynamos start strobing i can stop it quickly.

is that ok or not?

You can link many fixtures up for use with the DMX Master. For example I often hook up 2 15 chn moving heads, 1 icolour 4, 2 led par cans and and 2 dmx scanners.

It just takes a while to create the scenes with all that on the thing especially if your working with many channels per light. But the end result is normally pretty funky.

But in short.. yes you can... just need to link them together and work out their addresses.
Then you select the scanner number that you want to control.

ok thanks for that sam. because i dont want the dynamos strobing on a slow song and i want to control my SSN-1 :)

Out of interest what is the SSN-1? Is it a scanner?

My mistake, it's the old Spin3. The scan one is now SSC2. Sorry.:o
