Laptop Mounting

I currently just sit my laptop on my dj stand (using 4 ft wood laminate as tops). Only problem is, as it's a 17" widescreen it does tend to overhang the front (punters) side when the screen is opened to about 120degrees and has been knocked a few times, only lightly so far but one day...
I have tried to sit it at an angle on the desk which helps a bit but still overhangs slightly.

Does anyone else have or had similar issues and found a way around it, i.e. mounting options / suggestions.

I'm pretty sure Ultimax do one that simply braces onto your deck stand...

Get the larger adaptor plate

They can be seen in the picture (linked) they are holding my Denon CD Decks but they will also hold a laptop with the bigger adaptor plate.

I'm pretty sure Ultimax do one that simply braces onto your deck stand...So does the Road Ready one... but you might need a thin strip of wood / metal etc to make it steady if you have a Giraffe.

Easily fixed with a Dremel with cutting wheel, though... ;)
