Ok. After going to the DJ show hosted by Entertainment House i have an idea. I would like to have a downsize version of my rig using LED lighting.

I was looking at the Acme Impossibled and the MarveLED. I was thinking of hasing the impossibled on the main dance floor and a pair of Marve's. one on each side of the deck stand point at the walls/ceiling.

My question is would this be enough light or would i have to take more lights? Maby with a little smoke it might help but i was thinking of venues where you cant use a smoke machine.

I reckon that would be fine, but you might need a couple of pars to wash the ceiling and give a bit of ambiant light.

They're about right to give a subtle wash, I'd say. Although I prefer to get them up nice and high as they can be quite peircing on the eye to look at.

if you are controlling the pars then you can set them up so not such high light intensity...
Or you can try putting some frost gels in the holders (if they have them)

extreamly off topic but he we go.

for me to get a loan for a van i had to get a credit card to improve my credit score as i have none. so i have x amount of money to spend (not telling) and thought about led lighting.

Les pars are fine if you have them on the ceiling rather than pointing at the floor or at people.

The ledj 56s that I have, have a sound sensitivity knob on the back, so you can adjust the speed of them.

I use 2 of those and they're fine. Speak to Clive@CRS and he might be able to do you a better deal.

KMA - Been thinking on the same lines as you recently. Went and bought the Acme Super Nova kit yesterday and couldn't beleive the weight of these. Bag with the 4 lights, cables, clamps weighs less than one of my datamoons. Had a play in the living room last night with them and they are just as bright as some of my other lights so can't wait to use them this weekend
