hello from tom x.
i am new to karaoke and have just rec my new rsq e500n player
but it has a fault out of the box.high pitch noise when in standby.
i reported the fault the next day to be told its ok they all do it and is not a fault...but to my mind just becouse they are all faulty.is not ok.i paid £199-00
for this unit and am still waiting for a email from the company had it 4 days now.the unit is good i like it. but the noise drives me around the bend.can you help.

Hi Tom and welcome.

Personally, I would ring the company you bought it from rather than waiting for a reply to an email they might not have received.

It doesn't sound right to me that the player would be making a noise like that in standby mode.

i have the day after i rec it they said they all do this and so is not a fault.
the woman said she just turn it off at mains (unplug it)

Does the Volume down on the player do anything? how about changing channel on the mixer?

no. :bang: the noise is from the transformer i have been told by rsq. they all do this in the uk due to the 240 v on their hybrid power transformer. us at 110v ok
uk 240v put up with the noise when your not useing it or pull the plug.
so beware of the rsq e500n mk6 at £199.00 + del cost.:bang: :mad:

i'm pretty sure wouldnt accept, the goods as described, because it's not suitable for purpose, a refund can be asked for up to 31 days after purchase ussually.
