Printing & Distributing Playlists

Hi there.

How does one print off pages containing all their songs onto A4 paper and also I've noticed a few of you offer to email the client with your playlist/song libraries, how is this achieved?

I'd put them in something like a spreadsheet and bang it on a cd and send it to them.

Clients click to see the playlists held on my web site.

When they need to know what music is available--there it is--if tracks are not on there I offer to download them. I dont have a massive playlist--I dont need one fortunately.

I have just emailed the links to a client for a Party in 2 weeks--I also have a separate Country and Western Playlist.

All they do is either send over a list OR copy into a new document and highlight the tracks they want or put a Y for Yes by the tracks they want.

I then print it off and have it ready for the booking to use as the basis of the tunes to play--makes life easy.

Luckily nearly all our customers seem very computer literate-- as most of our enquiries are generated by the net then this is likely to be the case.

Good luck with it, incidentally if you want to copy my playlists to use as a basic data base to add to---feel free.

I simply wouldn't print out a full list - 300+ pages would cause more problems than it solves, but I am working on making myself a shortlist that I will also print out for general consumption.
