Hi,

I've downloaded PCDJ to trial, I'm having a play around with it but can't get it to mix tracks automatically...does anyone know how to do this...my head is getting a bit sore trying to figure it out!!

No idea.
But many trial versions will have certain limitations.. which mean you buy the full product.
From you original post it sounded like you already knew the full product did it... but as it now seems you don't why don't you try researching the software fully.. i'm sure it will tell you somewhere.. (especially the manfucaturers website)...

otherwise I'm sure there will be someone who uses it on here... who can tell you.

should be able to do it on the trial version.

if you are just trying to mix from end of one track to start of another, then there is an autoplay button on left hand side, click on that and it should work. (on pcdj blue that is, not sure about red although I think it pretty much the same)

Thanks for that...I'm trying to research the product etc...struggling as it all reads double dutch so to speak :p but researching a few different ones...

Do you know of any good pc software, that does karaoke aswell??

which version of pcdj have you downloaded? some times all the features aren't available on the trial ..... well all the time i'd say ??? as they would be giving you the program then.

I have pcdj fx and you can do an auto fade crossfade type thing if you play with the parameters in the configuration section , but i believe having spoken to pcdj at BPM that only on vj can you set up the program to autobeat mix tracks together?

Ok - what version did you download? If we know which one you downloaded we would be able to advise more :)

to mix tracks together just press the SHFL button, this will also randomly select a track after the previous has faded out! Pure genious

For karaoke you can buy the kareoke plug in which again is very simple and will fade in a track from player 1 or 2 after finishing the kareoke track using auto fire. Only downside is that the PCDJ logo is displayed on the screen after the track has finished [Currently trying to find out how i can put our own logo there instead!]

pcdj fx has a mixer module you can select and it appears below the player window when activated, and in answer to the pcdj logo in kj if you select config on the kj window you have the option to use any logo you have saved as a jpg on your pc as your new logo.Hope this helps

Thanks for the advise coloursounds, i created a lgo and put it in the KJ folder. Had to make a BMP and not a JPG but works perfectly cheers!!!!

I knew it was one or the other, 50/50 chance and I blew it, oh well it was 3 years ago I set mine up and the grey matter is not as good at memory retention as it once was.
