Just watched an old episode of Top Gear.

If anyone gets a chance to watch it this afternoon (4pm on Dave) do so. They were testing Leyland cars with some rather unusual tests. I was in hysterics. One of the funniest bits of TV I've seen in a long time.

By the way...is it just me, or is "Dave" the most pathetic name ever for a TV channel?

Probably one of the, if not the best episodes.

I've never laughed so much at a car show!

I prefered the one earlier this year when they travelled around the Southern States of the USA.

I not convinced that a lot of that wasn't staged. Funny though.

Actually thinking about it, my favourite all time Top Gear episode, was the North Pole special, especially when the ex SAS bloke got fed up with Jeremy and pushed him in the ice pool. I all but wet myself.

Also enjoyed the episode where they attempted to cross the channel.

If you read Hamsters autobiography he talks about taking up smoking again after 10 years or something silly straight after the altercation with the rednecks, so perhaps not that staged after all :o

I agree but it is one of the best channels around at the moment: top gear, bottom, catherine tate etc...

my favourite top gear is when the stig goes on public transport and they go camping :D

Yep seen it.....Top Gear has to be one of the best shows the BBC do well!

Yeah was really funny, loved it when they cut off Jame's snorkle so he couldn't breath lol

One of the other best episodes was with the limos and they had to take the stars to the brits in them!
