Really Great Gig

Hey all,
Just thought i would let you all know about my gig last night.

Everything seemed to just pull together perfectly. No issues at all, which is nice, as i still feel i am getting used to doing gigs (after a year and a half).

I also had a load of new kit to play with.

My new class Ds sounded AAAAMMMAAZZINNGGG. Running them with my old speakers in parallel. It rocked!!

Had a new radio mic to play with. And a new laptop.

The best bit was despite loosing my hard drive tuesday night and having to rip all my music back onto my lappy wednesday night, i was commended several times for my choice of music, and even had a potentual booking for another 2 gigs.

I have finally reached the stage where i am really pleased with how my kit looks/sounds and functions.

Just really pleased. I love it when a plan comes together.

absolutely.....i'm trying to save for a boat that i would like to buy to restore, but its so tempting to get a new set of dynamos instead.

What Radio Mic did you get?

Yes the 158 300watts. The mic is a JTS Mh-700D, it is brilliant. Had no problems that i used to have with a wired sm58 with feedback for some reason.

When I upgrade the Radio Mic, I feel I will go for some model of JTS. Well done. :)

I posted on another topic about strange gigs last week as I had a bit of a nightmare as no-one turned up. My faith has been restored. Had an absolute humdinger tonight. 5 hours with a rammed dance floor from start to finish. Ended up doing an extra hour free as I enjoyed it so much. I didn't get one request!
