Thats gonna cost an arm and a leg to send something that heavy:eek:

Have a look at this one.

www.parcel2go.com

Reliable and fast and gives you the option to track your package which is very handy. Not sure about prices tho. Very friendly helpline if you wana get a quote.

That's who I use normally. They don't do over 40Kg - I've just done an online quote with them.

Try giving them a ring i'm sure they can offer you something or pass you onto someone who can (a sister company maybe)

Just checked city link, it looks like they do delivery bigger items.

Cost up to 10kg £13.60. 60p per extra kg (£18). Plus it looks like there's an additional £10 (heavy weight consignment) surcharge for items over 30kg. Total cost for 40kg = £41.60.

I did a quote with City Link via Interparcel and it came to £39.94. The price was £23.99, plus £10 insurance (up to £500), plus Vat.

I didn't use the quote generator - just went with the prices that were on the PDF on the website. Your quote is better....sorted! :d

Just a thought, Daz. Why not give a cheeky ring to Digital Village in the morning. Ask them who they use for deliveries. It was they who sold me my sub and the very competitive price included delivery, so I would guess that might be a lead....

Could do. There are a few places who do delivery for 40Kg, but it is fairly expensive.

Well I can definitely recommend AGAINST parcels2go. I had to take them to small claims court a couple of years ago due to an almighty screwup.

These days I use interparcel.co.uk and generally choose the APC services (they usually offer a range of couriers, services and prices). If you can live with a bit of spam you can get 5% off for signing up.

Edit: just had a quick look for a 40Kg 80x50x50 package (guesstimate size!) for £24.
