Got fed up lugging 2 heavy amp boxes around - starte dto mak ethe big rig achore

so found this on ebay for £50.00

went to collect £15.00 and spent Sunday fitting all the amps in :)

Friday was the regualr Grammar skool valentine bash in the most akward of venues, but turned out to be a doddle in the end..

Last year it took 3 of us to move all the stuff around - this year just my wife n me and it took less time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had warned teh bookie that we need about 1 hour to break down and vacate the building but we were in teh van anfd driving away 35 mins after the last tune.

Were well happy.

In fact looking to pick up another one but with slanting top so the small rig can be done the same but with mixer n decks in the case as well..

Right gotta go n make some more speaker cables up as now gonna split all the cables for there own rigs :):)

and get a decent 8 way gang and mount to teh inside ob teh box and shorten teh releven leads - that will tidy it up nicely.

And when ive made up 3 diff lengths of speaker cables (5mtr 10mtr & 20mtr) gonna mount them in the front n back lids for neatness :)

I have the same (or very similar) case to the one KMA is selling. I think the weight is approx 30 - 35kg EMPTY. Add gear to it and it's a complete nightmare. If the hall is on the lower level and there's not a high stage to get it up then there's no problem. Add stairs or high stages into the equation and it's a complete nightmare. I've been using it for the last 2 years but I'm about to replace it with something more manageable. I can't even get it out the van without a roadie.

was up slopes narrow passageways were teh peavey subs wont fit sideways 90 degree bends up a lift uo 3 floors and then a high stage - but was still far easier than having them in 2 large boxes :):)
