thinking of going active

Been thinking about going active with my pa for a while now and the 3 systems I'm deliberating between are
mackie swa 1501 and srm 450,
RCF 705 and 310
db technologies sub 15 but not sure on tops might still go with the rcf 310's as there size appeals to me.

I'm leaning more towards the RCF and DB systems at the moment, has anyone compared or used both the 705 and the sub 15, what are they like to move around? they seem very similar spec wise, the amp module on the back looks the same and there from the same stable, the db is a bit lighter which is a good thing in my eyes, is the 705 worth the couple of hundred extra.
Is there anything else that i should be looking at

For gig's upto 300 maybe more, 2 subs and 2 tops

I have heard the Mackie swa 1501 subs and they are sweet (and light), well matched amp and driver.
the 1801 version of the sub is 3 times heavier and about twice as big but what a thump!

At 40Kg, I'd hardly call the SWA1501 light...

I suppose in comparison to others it may be and it has the handles set back to aid carrying, but I'd hardly call it light!

I've used the 1501 for the last 2 years and have just got the RCF sub, but haven't used it on the road yet, so can't comment.

I've used the 1501 for the last 2 years and have just got the RCF sub, but haven't used it on the road yet, so can't comment.

Should have added "easy to carry too" ;)
My passive EV Eliminator subs are 40 kilo's a piece, and seem light, I guess I have carried a bunch of heavy stuff in comparison.
I hardly use the handles on mine at all (10% of the time). I pick em up from the bottom and kind of "hip" them on the top of my right leg with my left hand on the front and my right holding one of the wee rubber feet on the back.
All this makes them a "breeze" to carry, and easy through hallways stairs and doors.(might help that I'm 6'2 with long arms)
I was road manager for quite a big outfit in Glasgow (after my first burnout) before I came here so had to be imaginative in packing and moving stuff.:D

I have moved the RCF about and to be honest, it felt heavier than the Mackie one, where as in fact the Mackie one is 40Kg and RCF comes in at 37Kg. I think the handles are set back towards the back further on the Mackie sub.
