Hi all,


ive been on DJGuard for a quote and it says need to be over 18, so do i need someone to put it in there name or do I just wait until im 18?

I would have a word with your parents.....i take it they will be gigging with you, driving you and also helping you.....:)

Try doing a search, one of the other younger members had the same question a year or so ago.

For the Insurance to be effective I would think the Contract would have to be in the parents name and they would also need to be present at every booking supervising.

I would strongly suggest checking with the Insurance people on this point, as to whether they intend to provide cover in those circumstances.

Otherwise its not helping the image of the Entertainment community if a DJ doesnt have PLI cover---not illegal yet but totally unprofessional.

Wouldn't the parent have to co-sign the contract anyway?. I'm pretty sure you can't sign a legally binding contract at 15 years old.

I think its 16 you can enter a legaly binding contract.
