what is the quick route for me to welcome new members. idon't have to do each one individually do i.

You don't have to do anything if you don't want to Dave!

If you want to welcome every new member, then yes, individually.

a more traditional way to greet new member, which dates back to roman times, is to create a small ceramic mosaic to show that the "welcome" is not a flippant comment typed onto a forum in haste.

the creation of the mosaic shows a hearrt felt welcome which i generally find is appreciated by the recipient.
