is there any reason that you say this apart from the feed back?

Before buying a strobe are you totally sure that's what you want?
I remember last year i bought a brand new strobe and controller used it a few times. seen all the health and safety that goes with a strobe light and haven't used it since. just sat at home doing nothing.

I personally don't like dealing with people off e-bay...but that's another subject.......
but....
I like the look of it as it's not in a cage....so to speak...although if it broke the cage would give some protection......
I just like the look and if i were to buy from someone....i would pick the better feed back...even though they are not brilliant.....:)

I don't think I've ever seen a strobe in a mobile disco setup, is it really worth it? Bearing in mind a lot of DMX lighting units have strobe effects built into their programs, which are usually optional with a dip switch, I don't see the value of having an individual strobe. Especially when you consider the possible risks. It also might not give you the best image to older guests - whether the strobe is safe or not doesn't matter, some people assume it is dangerous!

Years ago I used to use 2 and they are quite good for dramatic effect, but these days? Nah.

Aaah, well that puts a different perspective on it then! Unless they already know different, you will get suggestions from members here with a view towards mobile disco use :)
