Hi Guys,

I know a few of us went without a valentines gig this year....but good news (well for me anyway!) mine got booked today.

As it's a saturday next year it's a wedding at Sutton bonnington Hall

Anyone else had any takers?

Got mine booked last month. Mind you it does fall on a weekend next year for a change. So it was always going to be a more poular date than normal weekday ones.

Any takers for next valentines day gigs? You must be joking!

I probably won't even have one booked by the end of this year...if at all!

I'm glad you've got it sorted so early though...nice one!

Ah, working Valentines day is nothing. I worked on the night of my 25th wedding anniversary!

Mind you I had to take her to Turkey for the week to make up for it.

Thats romantic. Getting married on Valentines day. Ahhh.

Do you think they'll last long enough to get married???

Good idea but it's along time to wait...

I'm like many others who've replied - it'll be months before I start getting bookings into next year. Tends to go that way for some reason.

Well done you!!! Although I'll probably get the same gig as last year, it's not booked yet.

Well, all I can say is that you guys are all obviously doing something right and I hope that I figure out what it is because having bookings way into the future always feels good.

I've got weddings later this year (last one being October) that were booked last year. Weddings tend to be the ones that book very very early, but the other parties tend not to - certainly around here. If I'd been available I could have had loads of bookings in March - I find it hard to believe some people leave it so late to find a DJ.
