I've seen this done elsewhere and thought it quite a nice idea.

If a member wants to take part, they get sent a standard set of questions to answer and it comes back to me and I post it up for everyone to read.

Good idea or bad idea and is anyone interested in doing it?

Two thoughts spring to mind in all seriousness.
1) Malicious replies would obviously devalue the process, but aren't we big enough to accept " Cheery Banter " as par for the course? :confused:
2)Surely the beauty of an internet forum ( and perhaps a drawback admittedly ) is that it is interactive? :confused:

What's the problem with people being able to comment on someone's interview answers?

If someone gives an answer which I find interesting or surprising, I'd like the opportunity to be able to ask them more about it or make other general comments.

After all, we already offer information about ourselves, what we do & how we run our business on this forum...and others are free to comment on that, so I don't really understand why the interview thread should be done any differently (on a read only basis).

Online mags? Yes, absolutely. In fact when the DJmixed forum was running name DJs would come in and answer questions from anyone that logged onto the forum and get into discussions and everything. I think I annoyed David Morales :eek:

Online mags? Yes, absolutely. In fact when the DJmixed forum was running name DJs would come in and answer questions from anyone that logged onto the forum and get into discussions and everything. People are free to debate anything they want within the rules of the forum.

Sometimes decisions have to be made and I am the one who makes them.

I don't see what the problem is?

Do other people make decisions for you or your company Theo, when you haven't asked them to?

No problem with you making the decision - as you say it is your forum.
As for other people making decisions for me and my company - yes they do all the time be it the government, judges or just simple public pressure.
