Just a quick bit of updated (badly needed) lighting video.

Pinnacle Studio doesn't want to play ball on Vista, but Windows Movie Maker is surprisingly good, though what I've done was done in a few minutes as I haven't had time to have a proper fiddle.

Strange, cos it loaded immediately for me and went straight to WMP. Have you got an old-ish PC or slow BB Callum?

No, sorry, when I saw the link I immediately right clicked to download - it's an old habit. It does buffer and play within 20 seconds if I click the link normally :thumbs_up:

It was a booking for another DJ, hence the amount of lighting I took. I also thought it was a good opportunity to get a bit of updated footage, although it's probably out of date now as it was last October....:o

loaded in seconds in windows media player lights look great the moving heads are awesome i am hoping to get 2 in the summer.

You could do it "youtube" style with flash video for free, using a combination of Riva FLV Encoder (http://www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3) and FlowPlayer (http://flowplayer.org/).

Lights Look Good. Video Nice and Clear. What make are the moving heads on bottom,I'm thinking about buying a couple of the acme I-moves to start with then maybe go to 4 total. Any Probs with the drink in hand dancers spilling drink on them?

Thats what we do for more or less instant play.

My PC is 3 or 4 yrs old but so are lot of other peoples, you cant rely on everyone having whizz fast PCs or laptops.

No, you can't but most people with slow PCs have already said it loads fine. Personally I think hosting something on Youtube for business is naff and I wouldn't want it linked or embedded in my site.

i know this was about the video not the lights but when the dancefloor was full i couldnt help but feel the movers were wasted- looked good when empty though.

It's called layering your lights. I laready had scans coming down so wanted something going up and if you saw the whole video or were there I think you'd change your mind.

Just a link--My clients love the vids--they seem more impressed with the material than worrying about the source of it---

I guess very few people in my business actually offer the facility--;)
