Why the increase?

I was about to order the Behringer EP2500.

Then I noticed UKDJ had put there prices up, so I looked on Decks.co.uk, same there and in Thomann!

Any one know why this is?

Can you advise any other amps with the same power?

Like I said, it's the one in the second link, with a different coat on! :bang:

That's my main amp, runs lovely and cool, not at all flashy, just does what I need. Tony Scott runs a bigger model hard on Bass bins.

I know warrior often gets some stick but I use a Warrior DA-1300.
Was bought as a spare amp at first - budget - but much prefer it to my Kam and JB amp which are now spares.

And they really are cheap! One of them is on my shopping list for backup/second rig gear.

The DA 1300 is a gnat's down on power to the previous ones, but you'd never hear it.

I've been using the same Warrior amp (SB 1000) for about 5-10 years with no problems.

Behringer have just released their new price list for this year, and a few of the items have gone up in price I'm afraid!

It may also have to do with the exchange rate of the £ vs euro as the £ has gone down over the last 12 months and Behringer are a German company.

I use a KAM for my small line dance kit and have found it very reliable (although as I said on another thread it failed the PAT test this year owing to the earthing post - but it only took minutes to fix.)

That may have a little to do with it, but most of the products in the new price list have gone down! Only a few have actually increased.
The price increases throughout all retailers is because of the issue of Behringers new price list which came through at the end of last week.

I posted about an EP1500 dying recently; at the gig I swapped it out for a KAM KXR1000 and was pleasantly surprised at how it sounded, even driven hard (rave for teens).

Never used the KAM in anger before; I was impressed.

Depends how ohnest a company is being with prices. Some companys like to have lower prices making more money, so they make a lot of profit in the end. Think of the supermarket Tesco.
Other company's however use the finest of materials with their products so your buying for an all round excellent finished product.
