pcdj problem

Hi guys

I have a problem on my back up system a compaq presario 2100 laptop I have installed pcdj fx on it and when i start up the program the start up gets as far as "initializing cd ripper" then just stops so the program is not loading?? it runs fine on my primary system but not the back up one

any ideas woyuld be helpful?? thanks.

Dave, is that the right message to start with?

I have PCDJ RED.

My Laptop just shows the PCDJ logo and says loading--within a few seconds I have the screen ready to work.

Whats CD ripper?

Is that part of PCDJ

Maybe reinstall with the master disc and try again.

I was using Laptop as back up but now have 2 Cortex HDC 1000s.

Uninstall the program and delete any file folders from the program files in the :/C Drive .... If this doesn't work then either contact pcdj or format the hard drive, Both of these resolvements have worked for me.

Hope you can get it going.

thanks for the replys guys i reinstalled it and it now works fine its like when i power down the pc a file or something that aids start up goes walkies??

nearly had to use it last night though as my primary lappy froze twice :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

went down so i rebooted and all was well tried another track by the same artist .... halfway through it froze again so rebooted a second time and tried a different album totally no further problems.....


but ......


every cloud has a silver lining ........... turns out my laptop just doesn't like justine timberlake :D :D :D :D :D :D :D quite a nice fault to have really.
