Spinmaster 3..

About a month ago my Spinmaster 3 just stopped working, But I had it for about 3 years so I just went and bought another one. Bad choice there, The same thing happened last night. Bulb going on and off for about half an hour then not coming back on.
If I were to take it back to maplins would I be able to get my money back, Or would it be too late since they discontinued it now?

If it's in warranty, you should be able to get a repair. If not a refund, then you could get the successor, the SSN-1 as a replacement.

Thanks, Id rather have cash but if they give me a replacement/repair it I will put it up on ebay or something. Will try and get my dad to take me tomorrow.

I wouldnt mind the weight but for what it does isnt worth the weight

Sounds like a dud to me --- I had two, no problems for the 18 months I ran them, they are still working just fine after a year with the people I sold them to!

Go back to M*plins and demand satisfaction... if you are brave enough to admit on here to going into M*plins in the first place, then you should have no problem tackling them for a refund! :Embarassed:

I now have Martin Acrobats - can be had for surprisingly cheap money on the 'Bay now everyone has gone moving head / LED...

Go back to M*plins and demand satisfaction... if you are brave enough to admit on here to going into M*plins in the first place, then you should have no problem tackling them for a refund! :Embarassed:

No seriously, my Prosound amp is a mixer one, just for quizzes and similar, my Mapins lights have been in the main very good, the shops are handy, well stocked, and not overly dear. They may just lead some younger readers to believe that it's too easy to become a DJ with Pro kit, when some of it is really very budget.

I took them both back, and tried for about half an hour to get a refund/repair/new one but they just refused, Just like they did with the crapsound amp. Last time I get anything from them. :bang:
