Acme Falcon - Any Good

Hi Anyone use or have used the Acme Falcon lighting effect.I am thinking about buying two to add to my exsisting lighting rig,Ihave seen them on demo but would like to know what they are like on the road.

Any Info appriciated

Basic lighting effect but will fill the dancefloor nicley too,
Very good if you have a budget to stick to.

personally I don't like them...I got 2 and sent them back after having them for about an hour...the opening and closing of the gobos was an effect that I didn't like.

there not a bad effect but if you are getting some go for the hid version brighter lamp

Same, my dad bought one for the pub about a year ago, it really gets on my nerves when I'm working.

looks similar to the Acme Puma which i have just bought and received. Pumas are nice, bright with nice gobo's and patterns. it can seem to strobe a little to often tho.

Cheers for the replies,Had a second look at them in the shop and I agree with h8ytr and daryl after watching them a bit longer the gobo's opening and closing become irritating,Have to look for something else.
