Out of interest, how many people now carry the Baywatch theme tune, and would play it if requested.

Did a silver wedding annivarsary last night and got asked to play it- it went down a storm.
Usually only play it at studenty events.

Have quite a lot of 'tv theme tunes' cd's. Suprising how often they go down well, especially when people are sitting at beginning of the evening.

I have the Jimi jameson verison of it. And I have a group of college students that come in every week and try to get me to play either a really naff record or a theme tune. Last week it was the Antiques Roadshow theme.

If it wasn't for the fact that they always seem to have their own dance for the track I wouldn't play it.

Usually it's good for a laugh.

When it came out 2 or 3 years ago, it was massively popular with the younger people, but I haven't played it or had it requested for well over a year now.

I've played it quite alot, mainly at younger events, but not recently at all. It doesn't seem to be the 'in' thing anymore.

Are we talking the actual theme or the Sunblock remix thereof? Quite by chance I played the remix tonight.

The theme that I find goes down best, hereabouts, is 'Believe it or Not' from 'The Greatest American Hero' followed by 'I'll Be There for You' from 'Friends'.

The sunblock remix is a very good version but i prefer the origonal if im down at my local Oceana in the new york disco... was well impressed with myself last night as i got to whip out some old 12's and 45's :D

I don't think I've played this one in a while, the remix that is. I've never liked the structure of the Sunblock version, it's too 'stop-start' :rolleyes:
