Where you at this Easter weekend?

Hi All,

Just thought i'd ask what we're all up to this fine weathered :D Easter weekend.

For me it's 2 weddings, Saturday i'm down in Braintree, Essex and sunday at Hothorpe Hall in Leicestershire.

Hopefully a good couple of gigs saturdays is a good mix of tunes , sunday they want indie theme stuff.

Glad mondays off though!

Tomorrow I am at a local venue from 9pm - 2am doing a night called TIMEWARP which is 70s and 80s.

Saturday I am doing an engagement party out of town.

Sunday I am at my local pub doing my REQUEST FEST night and I am going to use the Cortex for the first time.

Nowhere. Only enquiries was a few pub gigs which I turned down due to safety - my own safety. I never like easter weekend as always seems to be bother. Spending weekend with family decorating so if anyone wants a gig done for swap for decorating my living room give me a shout !!

I've got a friends 40th birthday sat so will finally get the give the new speaker system a good canning! it's gonna be a very dancey night for about 200 people so will get the drive the system hard at last!

Its a good pub that. The villager. I had a few pints in there When i went up to Butlins nearby last year we went to ingoldmells a couple of times. (within walking distance of Butlins)
so should get a lot of holidaymakers in there. Nice spot you got there.

I will be sleepwalking my way through a Birthday Barn Dance Saturday --still good excuse to do something Irish--as its Paddys week!

BTW got a call from some dubious sounding Forces Agent for a gig at a base in Stafford.

Indeed Braintree is but it's an old work colleague from Belfast getting married so said i'd do it for them and it doesn't hurt getting the name out and about as next year i'll be a civie playing this game full time!

You did. Oh BTW it's Piccadilly Line or Victoria Line from Kings Cross & then the Jubilee line to North Greenwich for the O2. DLR is for London Arena. I can't remember which they're at or which I told you.
