CD mix 1

Hi everyone,
Looking for a bit of help! On my new rig i'm using a Numark CD mix 1 with W-Audio active 15's speakers. If Im doing a karaoke how do i have the sound coming from the speakers? It might be a daft question as i've never tried it yet. I know there is ports in the back of the mix 1 for audio jacks do i put them in there and just use either channel 1 or 2. Hope this makes sense.. :)

On the back of your CD-Mix 1 you should have a left and a right output, you take a lead from the left output and plug it into the left speaker, You then take the lead from the right output and plug it into the right speaker.

Your speakers being active you set the volume ( Also know as gain) to 12 oclock on both speakers and then control your volumes accordingly on your Numark CD-Mix1

Cheers, i know how to do this i meant if i also wanted to put a karake through it. I had a look last night after picking up one of my dj's and there is a few phone leads on the back of it.. Should be able to get it working via them

You have phono inputs on the back of your cd-mix to plug the karaoke into. You need to make sure the switch on the top it switched over to phono/line (i think) and the switch on the back next to your input is switched to line. If you want to use your cd again simply flick the switch on to next to volume control over to cd again.

I use this machine for karaoke a lot as I can keep a disc playing on one cd whilst preparing next karaoke. When moving over to disco have 2 cd's all ready. This and it is very compact.
