Ok heres my take as a Cortex owner:D

What happens about the 1 year warranty?

Insurance on top of postage--how much--you need it.

Please remember if you need the music collection to get in touch
 I dont think so :(

You could get a brand new one with full 1 yr warranty from a PROPER dealer
for £350---why waste your time and money?

I know one in Northampton:D :D :D

Thanks all for your thoughts, it was mainly that it was reasonably local, I'm not really at that stage yet, but you tend to keep an eye open. ;)

I hadn't seen the offer of the music collection, that doesn't inspire confidence.

It doesn't say what format. It might be cds to load. That would be OK.

But it doesn't say how much.

It might be extortionate. :D
