Hi,

Anyone using the Echo Indigo DJ card (Cardbus) with a laptop running Vista?

My other option is a USB Maya 44, but I *believe* the Indigo card has 24bit as opposed to 16bit DACs (although can't for the life of me find this info at the moment.... tired and it's time for bed  )

Cheers

Scott

Never used a seperate sound card but I've had no problems using one of these (http://www.djstore.com/item/mixers/numdm950usb.htm), Sounds excellent. Even better, if you can afford it is one of these (http://www.djstore.com/item/mixers/numdxm01usb.htm). This is what I'm going to get next, and use the first one as a back up, connected to my spare laptop.

By the way, I have vista on my laptop and use Virtual DJ. Never had any problems whatsoever. Just make sure you can get as much memory as you can afford as Vista is very 'memory hungry'.

Now if they would just make them in 19" wide units I might consider it :(

Just got hold of a Gigaport AG to play with, so I'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the input.

Cheers,
