Yet Another New LED Light!!!!

I've heard a rumour that the people who design the new LED lighting have a new light coming out that you can programm to project Mutli Couloured LED messages onto walls, ceilings, dancefloors etc. Anybody else no anything about this or point me towards a web link etc. All sounds pretty interesting.

It looks quite interesting and its nice to see more and more LED products emerging, but surely positioning it to get the maximum effect will be a nightmare?

If its mounted to your rig, pointing to the dancefloor, surely nobody will be able to read what it says on the floor, as 1. they will be standing on it, and 2. won't it be the wrong way up?
To get the best use out of it it would have to be pointing directly (square-on) to a wall.

After looking at the video, I don't think i'm that kean now . Don't know why, but I had something totally different pictured in my head:confused: .

Good idea having a lighting effect and a LED message board in the same box. Like the lighting effects but just the idea of displaying text on the dance floor seems so pointless to me. Might be good if you had it projecting onto a projector screen but that's about it. Can't see this effect being a big seller:rolleyes:

Perfect ceiling light I have seen in ages ideal for promoting business name as well as giving out number for requests and say happy birthday to the client loads of potential uses for this light I feel this could be useful especially when DMX linked
