Have recently bought a DMX master and frankly might as well use it as a barbecue for the moment. Have looked at the instructions, which I'm sure I will figure out eventually. What I'm really struggling with is how to input the sound signal into the controller from the mixer? There seems to be an RCA sound input on the controller but not sure how I output to it from my mixer. Using a Citronic SMFX 500 mixer:confused: :confused: :confused:

The sound activation comes from the DMX'ed Lights. Connected through the Controller via the built in Mics.

Nathan, I disagree with your comment.. so I just want to clarify something:
When you run the controler in music mode the scenes will change with the beat picked up by the in-buit mic (which isn't great).. or you can use the input which is normally for a mic to be hooked up.

So to clarify the sound activation does not come from the DMX'ed lights and does not come from their inbuilt mics.. not sure if that is what Nathan meant but I thought I would just point that out so people don't get confused :-)

Not sure on your controller but on most, when you put a line into the RCA input socket it will automatically switch to that and overide the built in mic, thats what my controller does anyway. The programs will then be triggered from your mixer.
