I've tried my usual sources including http://www.songofthesalesman.co.uk , but I can't find out what the music on the ad for Guitar Hero III is.
Anyone know?

I haven't seen it, but it seems to be by Slash, if the one on Youtube is the same as on TV?

It's the one that Slash appears out of the guy playing the game. Makes me think it's Velvet Revolver (sounds like Weiland too so might be), but I only have a few of their tracks on compilations & not the one in question.

I've never had a go, but watched a mate of mine play a really complicated fast tune with it and it looked really hard!

My brother has this game, although his guitar seems to be faulty as it doesn't do one of the special moves or something
It doesn't appeal to me though, I'm more of a Half Life or C&C type gamer

C&C - Command & Conquer is a war strategy game, I first played the original Red Alert version of it, and I used to play it literally all day, every day :o

Half Life was a first person shooter, but not a no-brainer, as it had a good storyline; and required you to solve puzzles in order to progress.

*Moved to the Lounge* as the topic is no longer music, but video games.

Now there's a trip down memory lane. Lost weekends with a crowd of us immersed in annihilating each other in that game. (remember those days Marc?) :)
