hi guys

i have two of these at present and was just wondering if anyone knows if i can use a single sub with my 2 mackie srm450s???

when i had a mackie 1501 i could connect a single sub to both tops is this possible with the carlsbros as i have a gig tonight for 90 people but the room is quite big so would like to take a little extra ooph

thanks in advance.

as stated the sub in question would be a carlsbro 15/600 active.

You could certainly link them Dave, but it depends whether it has a crossover built in to whether you can link the same way as using a 1501.

If it doesn't then just slave off the 450s.

Or a seperate feed from your mixer if you get stuck.

Yes. A bit late now but...

You could put the mixer into the sub and then line out into the SRM's from the hi-pass --- or, to run the SRM's at full range, then run the mixer into those and then line out and into the sub from the link out of the SRM's.

The latter option might be a bit 'wooly' as the crossover on those is 150Hz, try popping the Low Cut button in on the SRM's if so.

(I knew all that comparison shopping I did before buying my active sub wasn't wasted!) :beer1:
