We have orded a skip yesterday and its fill to the top. Just this very minute ago as we have 2 people dig there way through everything to find anything worth using.

So my brother took some pictures and i got a led par can out and tryed to get them to move on. ;) This didnt work at all. :(

But the funny thing is that everything eletrical we put in the skip is broken anyway. Well, thats after I throw everything in the skip anyway.

It just annoys me when they come at night and make so much noise.

My folks just said leave it and went back to sleep.....not me.

Anyone next time i'm going to get 2 par cans and hold both out the window and tell them to get of my property or I will call the police as there were on our front lawn.

I wouldn't worry about it - you've dumped it, they consider it unwanted. Only problem is skip-rats can make.

We have the same at amateur radio rallies - you should see the bins being sorted through at the end of the event by the skiprats - decent looking people taking tat with them that didn't sell and isn't worth taking back to sell again.

If people want to take rubbish OUT of your skip, let them take whatever they want as they are making empty space for you to put more rubbish in, which ultimately can mean you need less skips in the long run, hence will save money.

However, if you catch someone putting THEIR rubbish in YOUR skip, that YOU have paid to hire, then they need something firmer in their face than an LED parcan shone from a distance.

Isn't it illegal to dispose of electrical items in a skip?

If not illegal, then might be against local council rules.

Might be worth a check with the skip hire co... unless the pikeys have cleaned them out!

yeah annoyign as it is if they want it let them have it. As already said it leaves more room in the skip for you to dumo more. It is really a kind of recycling.

They have taken all the eletrical stuff (which dont work) anyway.

Just checked and we can put anything in there apart from gas bottles, asbestos and a few other things which I can't remember of the top of my head.

I see what you are saying about recycling and all but the skip is on out front lawn and tey should not be making such a noise at 1am. They took what they wanted and left rubish all over our front garden.

Now if they came during the day and asked then yeah fine by me but still.
