Acme Falcon's-Ever had the bulbs go quickly?

I replaced a bulb on my Acme Falcon 2 weeks ago then last night it went again.I replaced it again then it went within the hour.Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? (fan is working ok incidentally)

We have had a number of threads regarding short lamp life. Very often a new holder is required, or possibly have you touched the glass with your fingers? This is bad news, and should be cleaned with a spirit based cleaner before use. Note, please ensure all traces of cleaner have left before using lamp, as bursting into flames is Callum's sole perogative. ;) :D

Probably the lamp holder--just had mine replaced on my Source Colourblade similar problem--also lots of reports on here of this problem.

Get it checked.

certainly wouldn't touch the bulb but it looks like a lampholder is the issue.
