So what are you pet hates relating to internet and everything associated?.
Ok, I'll start...
* When web pages have an image of an item, and an option to click and see a larger picture of the item. You then click it only to have the same size image open in a new window. Arrrrghhh
So what bugs you about t'internet?.

When instead of the photo that is MEANT to be there, all you can see is a blank box with a small red cross in the corner.

Internet 7! When all the internet pages freeze and close! :bang:

One called mobile disco something.. :p
Internet 7! When all the internet pages freeze and close! :bang:
Solution:
1) don't open everything in one page - open in a new window
2) switch to firefox
Edit to add a thought: but anyway even if you had IE6 open with different windows.. if it freezes they will all close normally anyway.. so it doesn't make any different having them all in one page.

Music that plats automatically on websites, has to be the most annoying thing ever, especially when you have the speakers turned up!

Or are listening to something already.
I'll agree with Shaun's "bigger image" gripe too

My biggest pet hate isn't so much with the internet, but rather some people's use of it.
In my line of work (I also provide IT support for businesses) I often have to watch other people, and it bugs the http://www.loweringprices.com/smilies/censored.gif out of me when people double click links in websites or emails!
Especially in emails, I have one client who ALWAYS double clicks links in emails then wonders why nothing has happened - without realising that the first click fired up IE with the page, and the second click brought his email client to the active (front) window again and THAT'S why he can't see the http://www.loweringprices.com/smilies/censored.gif link he clicked on!
And I agree, larger images that aren't are annoying!
EDIT: And another one, people who have their browser window full screen - and that includes my wife!

Which seems to account for about 90% of them!!!!!!

and Safari park (or whatever it's called), missing some usefull functions like a 'Home' button:confused: Hate the thing, gimmie IE anyday:D

A Mac user? God no!
If you have to have your browser full screen to see everything on the page then fair enough, but I run at 1600 x 1200 and given that most designers aim for optimum viewing at 1024 x 768 there's no need to go full screen or anything near it - in fact some sites just look plain weird at higher resolutions.
It's so much easier to switch between windows if they're not all maximised - that's why it's called Windows after all!

Partial full screen. I like a full screen window height-wise, but not width-wise. I'm pretty sure you're the culprit that keeps setting my taskbar to 'hide' too. :bang: :D

Phew, close one there!:D
Take your point about screen res, I'm on a 22incher :p
Guess it's just a personal preference, personally I prefer maximized:)
More hates:
Fact that half the web is dead:mad: How many times to you click on a search result and get 'Page Cannot be displayed'??
And websites that are 1000's years out of date, that I'm visiting because I want up to date information. Like prices: £100 ...... page last updated 2003BC:mad:
Huge hate: bl00dy holding listing pages.
Do a search for sommert, and the half of the links that do work are just lists of links to other pages that are just lists of links that link to other pages full of lists of links....:bang: :bang: :bang:
