Hi all,

Any one used Nvu for creating there websites?

I downloade dit and seems easier to use them Frontpage.

But what do you thinks better? Frontpage or Nvu.

Well I hate frontpage, so anything has got to be better! Looks a good program, gonna have a play and see if I prefer it to dreamweaver..

Hmm.. well i made it crash trying to open one of my pages.. good start!

No support for PHP either, so that rules it out for me.

I run 4 Websites on Frontpage and its a doddle to operate--it doesnt support PHP but who cares--I pay £20 a year to My Internet Store for hosting a cheap program that covers all 4 sites on a PHP Responder Quote system.

Good value I would say--maybe you ought to speak to My Internet store;)

Well if it doesn't support PHP its fairly useless for doing anything more advanced with websites, like the gallery I wrote and client centre that I'm currently working on :)

I'm pretty sure Frontpage supports PHP anyway, it was just Nvu I was talking about.

NVU is a dormant project. It has been replaced by Kompozer which is still a work in progress but is a bit more stable. http://www.kompozer.net
