Hello to every one on this forum. I’m Geoff age 42 and have been DJ’ing at weekends for the last 8 years or so.
During the working week I’m a Carpenter. I really enjoy both jobs and can swap days and times around to suit both jobs. I haven’t come to this forum to advertise my DJ business and I trade under my own name. I have been viewing this forum for the last couple of years and felt it would be good fun to join in some of your discussions. You may ask why I don’t have a name for my DJ business and the simple answer is I seem to get enough work under my own name. I’m a soul trader self empoyed and no loger have a web site. If some weekends I don’t have any work DJ’ing I can simply go and do my carpentry work as they both pay about the same although DJ equipment can cost far more than carpentry equipment. If I was honest I would say my carpentry skills are better than my DJ’ing skills. I was taught to mix by DJ Richie Rich and in return taught him some building management skills i.e. Carpenters don’t have to wear hard hats! Well I could go on but need to use the loo, so when you lot next post be prepared for a new boy to join in ! Oh I will dig out some pictures in the coming weeks ahead, Geoff
