Well with fuel prices rising all the time we need to fork more out as we need cars , vans in our line of work so i hope these links can help you and save you some money :

Been using Petrol prices for a while now and have noticed it's not updated that regally so prices could be different online than at the pumps.
But all in all a good site with some interesting articles.

The second link is intresting. The cheapest place for me is a 2 min walk and thats at 105p a litre.

Was driving down the M4 Sunday and Yesterday (wednesday) and got caught short for petrol both times. Ended up paying 113.9 a litre!!!:eek:
And thats for petrol!!!

I think you have to be careful using bio-diesel.

If you have a new car and start to use bio-diesel you must stick with it....if you start to mix it with ordinary diesel...(don't quote me on this)...it starts to rot seals (rubber or plastic) out and you could be left with a massive bill.....and if you have an old car that uses diesel it will do the same if you start to use bio-diesel.......

Diesel at the moment is fairly clean......so i would just stick with the normal unless the manufacturer advises otherwise......:)

Tom, you'd probably find you could fill up in one go and save yourself loads of time if you took the car with you :D ;)

I agree with penmare42.
Some bio diesels and cooking oils tend to rot any rubber seals after a while.I replaced mine with a fibre type seal, and it seems to be ok, My L reg landrover has been running on 50/50 ,Diesel and new veg oil for 5000 miles + and apart from smelling like the local chip shop, it runs fine.
Have you noticed how the price of cooking oil has shot up in the supermarkets,
Tesco cooking oil used to be £0.74 p/p/l , now its £1.04 p/p/l :eek:
