Hya folks just wondered if anybody likes a bit of snooker?
If you do who are ya rooting for to win at Sheffield?
I was rooting for Mark Selby but went out first round so now Ronnie O’Sullivan.

I used to like it quite a few years ago when the game had quite a few characters and the commentators said things like" for those of you viewing in black & white the blue ball is next to the brown" but I find it a bit boring now.

I'm a massive snooker fan. Going to Sheffield next Wednesday for the evening session. I was also at the Masters final @ Wembley, and the UK championship in the winter.

I don't really follow anyone in particular, although I do like to watch Ronnie and Hendry play.

I like to watch it, but try not to, as it can soak up so many hours, and I always feel like I should be doing something else!

I also love watching the Rocket play, he really is unplayable when he's on form. Also all the old favourites like Davis, Hendry, Higgins, and so on.

I try to play once a week, I'm not that good.. but makes me look good when I then go and play pool :D

I used to see Alex Higgins quite often, when I lived in Bury were am from as he always used to be in the sports pub in Tottington around the corner from were I used to work, a real character and used to challenge people at snooker for a drink, trouble was though the drunker he got the more outstanding he played :D

Wouldn't like to be sat with Ronnie right now. He's just had nearly £80k ripped away by Ali Carter after he too produced a 147 break!

What would happen if, for example, O'Sullivan made another 147? Would he get two thirds of the £157k? :confused:

Indeed it was, I felt for him, I actually thought he was going to cry in the 3rd session. How can you play agains't someone like Ronnie? Even when he's playing relatively poorly like he was today, he's still well above average.

I hope he doesn't retire, or even take a year out, because he is the best player to ever hold a cue (John Parrott quote :)). I think his problem is that he needs to be challenged, and he really can't be bothered with routine.
