I don't normally either, but made an exception for this. It was only a 5 minute walk after all.
I should have bought more and listed them on ebay (or DJBids )

You had better practice a lot, then :D
On the plus side, you did last about 90 seconds in the boxing. Unfortunately, this included the 80 second introduction warm-up :p

I've never played the fitness game, but I find you get bored of the Wii pretty quickly - it's more for kids and folks who rarely play video games. I have an XBox, Xbox 360 and Megadrive, but I generally play PC games the most!

I'm not allowed to play PS3 / XBox / PC Games, or at least any that involves shooting things or that can be hard to put down...and before anyone asks, it's a self imposed ban - I know my limitations and I have a very addictive personality - dangerous when you're self employed and supposed to be working on a PC.
Pity, as I do 3D graphics and animations as well as web stuff and so my PC is always able to play the latest games at the highest settings....:(
So that's why I opted for a Wii....it's good for a "quick fix" without being too addictive :)

You're telling me! I remember those lost weeks/months that used to come up frequently. Command and Conquer and DoD...ahh, good times. :DWell... I've just finished expanding my home network - 4 sockets in the living room, and 2 in each of the bedrooms, all running to the centralized hub and server in the cupboard under the stairs. Great for people bringing round their 360's or PCs :D

I remember the old 2D versions, they were an absolute blast, especially in multiplayer! The new 3D ones try to be too realistic, but I think they're naff :p

Went for the PS3 myself as I love the moto sport game. Im told they will be bringing out wii style controllers soon so just have to wait a bit. But I do alreadfy have a blu ray movie collection so ps3 was worth it for that.

I just bought an attari cosole, complete with asteroids and space invaders and 2 paddles, for only £23 off fleebay, a bargain i thought, so far its brought me literally minutes of entertainment, and will gather dust in the cupboard on a par with the far more expensive gaming machines - im thrilled

the bad thing about wii is if you leave it on too long then then the lead from the wii that goes into your telly burns inside and ruins the telly connected.

I bought the 'wife' a wii fit. It's official, I'm obese, hell I knew that anyway but it's un-nerving having a machine tell you that you're off the end of the scale. I haven't actually got around to trying any of the exercises yet as I got out of breath removing all the packaging. :o
A couple of cream cakes and I'll be fine.

Congratulations fella, the first huge step is actually admitting you are to the group :D
I fancy getting one of them wii fit things, we have pretty much all the others excluding the ps3 went for the 360 instead :D
The wii though looks pretty revolutionary in the gaming world as it actually gets your but off the sofa which is never a bad thing :)
