Due to have a bit of knee-surgery this month (30 seasons of senior football takes its toll!) on the 21st to remove a bit of floating bone that makes my knee lock-up. Just had a call to say they've brought forward my op and moved it from the NHS shed to the local Nuffield(BUPA), so I'm feeling jolly pleased this mo!:D :D :D

Nobody you'll have ever heard of mate! Only local league stuff! Still wears the bits out though!

I'm like the Black Knight in Monty Python & the Holy Grail -
"Oh, I see. Running away, eh? You yellow *******s! Come back here and take what's coming to you. I'll bite your legs off! ."
But seriously thanks all for the well-wishing!

Just got back from doing my school prom (including a visit from Danno, who finished early!) off to bed now ready for a 7.00 am rise, and under the knife at 8.00am. - seems inconsequential after Dave's escapade!! See you all soon!

Hope you're up and about soon.
You've got a lot to live up to against Dave.
A friend of Carol's had the same problem as you and he was getting around fairly quickly with a stick to give the knee a bit of help. Don't feel it looks off, use it.

I'm back! Apparently had a tear in my "bucket-handle" cartelidge. Bit woosy, but no real pain at the mo - movement restricted by a huge bandage, but walking ok without a stick. Thanks for the well-wishers.

Cheers Tone, mowed the lawn this morning, and taking doggie for a stroll in a moment - so you could say I'm on the mend - got three little holes in my knee, and apart from the swelling, all seems ok!
