Hi Guys, A very good friend of mine has asked me to post this:

KEEP YOUR EYES OUT

431 CDs in total, all original, mainly compilations from Al Jolson to the late 90s, about 60 DMC DJ Only CDs and every NOW from 13 up to date and every NOW Dance.

Toshiba TDP-S35UK DLP Projector
Kam Star Cluster Laser
Kam Wireless Mic

All in black flightcases

Additionally some lead crystal figures

Fortunately it seems they didn't have time or couldn't come back for more.

The police are fully informed with serial numbers etc. but hold out little hope - especially for the CDs

It was stolen from Wokingham, Berkshire. Any info to me please via PM or Email.

Many thanks

Good luck with this one. always a bummer when your precious stuff gets nicked, especially if you make a living from it. Can he not claim on insurance?

Mikeee, how was the gear nicked, and where from?

It might be worth alerting people to the modus operandum so they can try to secure themselves against a similar threat.

It was from a garage. If thieves want to get in, they will unfortunately.

Thanks Darren. It's quite surprising how much can be done in a very short space of time with (we assume) a small crowbar (or similar).

I wouldnt dare leave my gear in the car oevrnight due to the area I live in.

It really is a pain to have to load the gear back into the house after a gig.

Good luck with the insurance.

I don't mind leaving some gear in various places overnight, but my CDs and Laptop always come with me, especially when I am working away from home. A DJs CD collection is basically his biggest tool, same with a laptop for Vdjs.

Feel ur pain bud, hope they find the :Censored:, sadly, the cops don't have the resources these days. Just another figure on the statistics :bang: . At least we have word out within the community, hopefully they'll try and shift em on ebay, or sell them to a member of this forum! NABBED!

CDs = Priceless, for everything else, there's Master Card.
