After recent events, I just want to thank those who have sent me positive messages.
It's very much appreciated & the reason I'm still here.

Move on Rob. You are sounding more and more pathetic.

I don't know, Gary...it depends on whether you've read the "What have you done for the industry" thread.
I have no problem with someone willy waving by starting a thread that basically says "I'm better than the rest of you because I'm on the LWP and also run a forum"
However, I DO have a problem with someone saying I've done nothing for the industry, and that I only do something if I earn money from it. How DARE anyone insult me like that, especially when they don't even know who I've helped or what I've done. On top of that, I'm now apparently pathetic as well.
Early in the other thread, someone said the forum takes a lot of their money and time. I responded by saying I was willing to help by increasing my subscription & asked him to let me know if there was any other way I could help with the forum.....and I just ended up getting insulted.
Being insulted is bad enough on its own, but I've NEVER before been insulted after offering to help someone, both financially AND with my time.
It's not surprising I've done "nothing" for the industry if THAT'S the way I'm treated everytime I offer to do something to help!

Ok, cheers Rob. I can't comment as I haven't read the thread as yet but I will do.

Let's get this straight. I do not willy wave and I do spend a lot of time trying to push this industry forward and not just by sitting in my house typing stuff. Doing your job earns you money, so therefore is not getting off your arse and doing something for the industry.
I am sick of this pathetic attitude of yours, like you are the only person on the forum.
I never insulted you, you read into what I said too much and if you want to do that then that is your prerogative.
I have had a particularly tough week with one thing and another (all to do with the industry) and don't appreciate childish threads like this one being started just to try and get people on your side and rock the boat and annoy me and a lot of the mods and admins on here.
Move on Rob.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to thank them by replying to their PMs rather than posting a pointless topic?.
Move on Rob. Thread closed!
