Hi Im looking for a trailor (given up on the van idea) to be pullled by a Subaru imreza saloon 4WD.

max dimensions: 1.85m height, 4.5m length, 1.7m width. anything considered especially secondhand. Preferably smaller than stated dimensions.

I'm thinking about £500 - £1000 budget?

Needs to fit at least four large speakers (including 18inch bins) and all normal mobile rig stuff (not massive set up).

Any links /suggestions very much welcome :)

Take a look on fleabay. I bought a trailer off there a few years ago for £500, 10ft long, 5ft wide and 6ft high, and it was plenty big enough to pack a disco in.

Ta, will do. One of my DJ's suggested that, but i have not had time yet (i assume you mean ebay).

Off topic - why does it say "vote now" sometimes instead of save on the edit option?

I think that when you start a thread it gives you the option of selecting to allow other users to vote on your thread - ie how good/useful they think it is.

I've been toying around with some forum software that was included in my webhosting package. The options that you can select are plentiful - some are useful and some just gimmicky.

EDIT...

Actually, I've just tried this and this option is not available on this forum. Maybe it's something to do with including a poll which you can select.

It shouldn't show up when you're editing a post though.

It shouldn't show up when you're editing a post though.

I realised that it was about editing posts when I re-read the original post. It was a misunderstanding on my part due to being very hung-over after a little too much of the old vino last night! (hence it's a sunglasses day today!) :cool:

How soon do you require the trailor?

Not in a huge rush as i can currently fit everything in the car. Its mainly for loading practicalities and security. If you have one in mind then im interested. The one you used to (or still do) have looks perfect :)

Not that I still wish to join the pedants forum, but I didn't think there was any such thing as a trailor as referred to in this thread.

As far as I'm aware, the thing you tow & the short promotional film at the cinema are both the same word, the spelling of which is TRAILER.

Im even to stupidd to use the spell checkar

Back too the point, someone must have or know of someone selling a trailer

Just a thought:

Does gear tend to be bounced around a little more in a trailer, maybe leading to more breakages?

Just a thought:

Not in my experience. You just need to use proper cases and pack it properly.

Nor mine, plus most trailers have an internal rail and/or lashing points so you can tie down the load.
