I missed the boat on this one, apparently all flights and trains are booked/reserved, and you have to go to at least Blackpool for accommodation :(

Still, no matter where I watch it, it may never happen again, so come on the Gers!!

Never mind, you can only ride your luck so far! If you consider how much money that side was put together with, it's a great return really! I remember when we were making signings like the De Boer brothers, and of course Tore Andre Flo for £12m :o

We've suffered financially for years because of that, it would have been so ironic to have come back to defeat the team which is managed by the guy that put us into so much debt! :D

Seriously though, I do like Advocaat, and I am glad it was his team that won it if we couldn't.

Well - I'm back - what a nightmare.

Result Wise - Best team won simple as that, Its been a hell of a ride, and I am so proud of the team for getting this far.

Manchester - Couldn't organise.....well you know the rest, 150'000 people there yet they were prepared for only 70'000 if that, they were told way ahead.

Police were great during the day, mancunians were great and everything was happy, then after hearing what had happened at picadilly, we decided to leave 5 mins before end of game, police refused to open large gate and could have caused a massive crush. But at least home safe.
