Pets. What you got?

We got 2 black cats, one's 19 and looks like it's dead. Affectionately known as the "ghost cat", Chalkie is it's original name (I wanted Snowy but Mrs VV wouldn't have it). The other's about 12, inherited with the house and totally unremarkable.

We got a tank full of tropical fish - nothing fancy just some guppies, silver sharks, clown loaches, neons.

And 3 hens named after dead grandmothers - Edie, Cicely and Eva.

Whatya got then?? Huh??

Three golden retrievers; Cassie, Monty and Daisy, 3 years, 2 years and 1 year. Cassie and Monty are parents to Daisy. Monty won't be fathering any more litters though. ;) We also have a GSD who is 11 called Woolfie. And two cats, Bella and Crumble. Mad house!!! :D

Socks - age 10 approx (got him from animal shelter) He has been living with us for 6 years this year - We call him fat boy (at last weigh in, he was 5.5kg - but according to the vet, not TOO overweight) :lol: He's black & white

Twix - age 3 - she's the mouser, loves to bring them in (dead or alive) and leave them at the bottom of the stairs. She is tabby & white

I'm going to teach the dog to leave it nuggets in one area of the garden. It may take a few weeks but thats a not a problem. Im more worried about the chewing of things as we might be getting new 5 seater sofa. lol. Good thing we are selling the chesterfield sofa. lol

As alot/most of you know i like reptiles and have been a breeder of bearded dragons, well i have now moved onto snakes as well lol

Here is a list of what i have lol

Female staffy X english bull - Tia - 16mth old

Male Black nailed bearded dragon - Charlie - 2yr 2mth old

Female White nailed bearded dragon - Fiona - 1yr 2mth old

2 x baby bearded dragons (male and female) - Zulu (male) & Scurry (female) - both 6 weeks old

60+ baby bearded dragons of various breeds - various ages (mainly 4weeks below)

Male albino corn snake - Tyson - 2yr old - 4ft long

Baby female cali king snake - Xena - 1ft and growing

Male boa snake - Oscar - 5.5ft long

Giant african land snails - no names lol - 0.5" and growing

Will add pics when i have resized them and got clear ones lol

Used to have snakes, spiders, scorpions, gekos, salamanders and iguanas. Ran a reptile rescue and reptile club, sold them all when got married (now divourced and not wanting to get back into it again)

Mrs Paulie hates snakes & spiders, but watches all the programs about them on TV !

I've got a dog called Daisy. She is a King Charles Cavalier and her Mom (I think it was...or her her grandad lol) was a Crufts champion, so she was bread to enter as well, but the breeder reckoned her jaw wasn't going to develop properly or something!!

Here is mine, the black Cocker called Monty.

The retriever is a Woofability dog, they are trained to become assistance dogs for the disabled (wheelchair bound).

We are socialisers, who look after a dog for up to a month and take him out in the world and also train him. We take them shopping, Tescos etc., in hospitals, schools, anywhere that a disabled person may go. Their training includes taking socks off, picking up the phone when it rings, pulling washing out of the machine, picking up dropped credit cards etc.

They are fully trained when they reach about two years old.

It is extremely rewarding! :D

That's spot on! They ARE totally soppy. They are proper characters. Some of the faces they pull are almost human. That sounds silly but they are really clever. They are also very powerful but also prone to allergies etc...

My grandmother - who was an incredibly warm and generous woman, who never had a bad word to say about anyone, and always found something good to say about people, and never showed any interest in boxing once said to me something along the lines of "Eubank's is boxing today, isn't he?.... ...Good. I'd like to see him beaten up. Horrible man" :eek: Really shocked me at the time because it was so wrong coming from my nan!

Anyway, sorry for going off topic. :)


They are also very powerful...Ain't that the truth! My neighbour had one when I was growing up. If he was out being walked and I was up the other end of the street, when he'd see me, he'd come bounding up the road and jump up to put his front paws on my shoulder. I lost count how many times I ended up on the floor

No pets as such, but I have taken an interest recently in supporting local wildlife, which mainly consists of birds.

As a consequence of that, I have a slight dislike of cats, so keeping them out of my garden is another hobby :D
