I compered for (family) at a Stars in Thier Eyes night tonight - ended up dj'ing too lol

anyway upshot is that I was asked to DJ at three functions - gave my tel number to them - aim to charge £300 minimum, but also agreed to do 3 sunday night quiz nights for £130 each - have i been done?

I have at least 12 pints in me at the moment....so dont know if this makes sense

As long as its £300 per function then yeah! :D

And as for the quiz nights, you could be in the house watching Heartbeat or whatever crud itv show, so i say go for it! :)

I get a lot less than £130 for my regular pub quiz nights, but someone else is spending about 4-5 hours compiling them, so it's him doing all the hard work rather than me.

For a one-off quiz, I charge £150, so I'd say £130 is s fair price for one which you compile yourself.

haha.
Well I have to say I love it - very big fan of the area it is filmed in.
Although some of the characters and story lines are rubbish these days.
Bring back Nick Rowan and good old greengrass :P

You can't beat Heartbeat,
I have visited the set where it is filmed many of times as it is not far from me at all say around 30 miles maybe a little more, Great old country side and Hearbeat is a program that i have grown up watching lol

Anyhow back onto the topic £130 a night for a quiz is good money to be honest with you, Down hear you are lucky if you can get £80 for a quiz night and that is with compiling it yourself.
