Finally ordered those new lamps...

Finally ordered the new lamps for the scanners that I have had for yonks but not actually used!
Also ordered a mirror ball, mirror ball motor, mirror ball chain, 4 safety wires, 5 DMX cables & 2 new G-Clamps :D as part of an "upgrade".

So will be trying it all out next Sat at a wedding gig we are doing in a marquee. Will post pics up showing the result :)

I plan on using the scanners / moving heads to light the mirror ball at certain times so will have to do quite a bit of programming on friday night when it should all arive :D - all good fun!

Well I am exhuasted,

have just spent the whole of today setting up all the new dmx bits and bobs (adding 5 new units) and trying to reduce the effect of de-rig etc on the position of where the scanners will hang.. as if they don't hand in the right place.. they wont be hitting the ball.

But anyway, it looks great in my living room.. so hopefully it will work its magic at the gig tomorrow :)

Was a fantastic night.
Everyone up and dancing all night and every one complimenting us on music / lightshow.

Was at a fantastic venue who specialise in weddings - the venue owner came up and kept going on about how he was impressed and how whe would be reccomending us to all his future clients.

Took lots of video so will put some online when i get a minute.
